Are all of your products in stock?
You can always get your hands on the equipment you need from York Survey, because we keep most of our products in stock ready for immediate dispatch and next-day delivery. With everything from the simplest marker nails to the most complex total stations, the complete YSSC range can be accessed through our catalogue, online or by visiting our showroom.
Do you offer discounts?
Here at York Survey, we like to save you money and we've long been known for our famous quantity discount offer! This applies to all our products so remember, no matter what items you're ordering, the more you buy, the more you save!
Our discounts are:
2+ - 5% discount
5+ - 7½% discount
10+ - 10% discount
25+ - 15% discount
Please note: price breaks on paint occur at 2+, 6+, 12+ and 24+
Quantity discounts unavailable on certain manufacturers' products and This Week's Special Offer.
Don't forget our Price Match Promise - if you find the same products cheaper elsewhere, get in touch - we will not only match that price, but also despatch your goods immediately for next day delivery!*

Do your prices include VAT?
As the majority of our customers are businesses, all displayed prices exclude VAT. This will be added to your order during the checkout stage.

As an estate agency group using your Disto lasers, we would like to know how often you recommend checking the Distos to ensure they remain accurate for branch use?
We recommend an annual service and calibration. Contact our workshop at repairs@YorkSurvey.co.uk or call us on +44(0)1904 692723 to make arrangements.
Will you email me an invoice?
Invoices are generated and emailed at the end of each working day, however, if for any reason you don’t receive one or want a copy simply call our Sales Team on +44(0)1904 692723 and we will be happy to email one to you!
How much are your delivery charges?
Delivery charges to UK addresses are based on the value of the goods ordered.
Net order value up to £250.00 = £12.50
Net order value over £250.00 = FREE!
The website will automatically work out the shipping cost for you before asking for payment.
Delivery To Europe & Elsewhere.
If you would like goods to be delivered outside of the UK area, we will contact you with a delivery cost after you have submitted your order, but before payment is made.
When will my order be delivered?
We dispatch orders Monday to Friday (excluding UK public holidays). Standard delivery days are Monday through to Friday, but we can deliver on Saturdays at an additional cost.
All UK orders placed and paid for before 4pm will be delivered next day.†
We also offer special delivery options, where your goods can be delivered before 10:30am or before noon. Please contact our sales team with your requirements, and we will be able to quote you a price.
All orders are sent through a courier system, so we can check the progress of the parcel, from when it leaves our building, until it arrives at its desired destination.
†Prices apply to U.K. only. Free standard delivery on orders over £250 net. Delivery to Northern Ireland subject to price surcharges. Please allow 2-3 days for N.I. and certain remote and offshore locations.
What types of payment do you accept?
If ordering from the UK or EU, you can pay using the following three methods:
1. Online (with a credit or debit card)
This is the quickest and easiest way to buy from York Survey. It is 100% secure with a 128 bit encryption, and no credit/debit card details are kept on our servers. A payment will be taken directly from your card and the purchase will be dispatched, to arrive the next day (if order is made before 4pm).
2. By post (cheque / EU cheque)
You can send a cheque to York Survey in the post and we will dispatch the goods when the cheque has cleared.
3. Bank transfer (BACS or IBAN)
You can send us a BACS transfer via telephone or Internet banking. This will take 3 working days to reach and clear our account, upon which we will dispatch the goods. If you're ordering from Europe, you can pay by IBAN (International Bank Transfer In Sterling).
International Orders
If you're ordering from outside the UK and EU, your order will be submitted as a request for quote, and a member of our sales team will contact you with a price that includes delivery costs, and to arrange payment.
Credit Accounts
If you have an account with us, you can pay on that and we will invoice in the normal way. (Please see our terms and conditions). Please contact our sales team if you wish to apply for a credit account.
